2. Those Brackets

After announcing the return of the Super X Cup last week, Impact Wrestling have wasted no time in announcing not only the eight competitors entering the tournament, but also the official bracket for the tournament.

On the left-hand side of things, it's staying Impact-heavy, as Ace Austin returns to in-ring action as he faces Suicide, while Daivari collides with Cousin Jake. Opposite them, though, Crazzy Steve takes on the debuting Tre LaMar, while the sensational Blake Christian also debuts to take on KC Navarro, who is making his official Impact debut after appearing on a handful of Impact Plus and Twitch specials in the past.

Just by looking at these brackets, you can immediately tell that the tournament will be a hit. We haven't seen Ace in the X division since he failed to regain the X Division Championship from Willie Mack at the end of April, while Cousin Jake and Crazzy Steve's recent title challenges against Rohit Raju proved both are capable of hanging in the division. Add in the new faces, and you've got quite the field.
