"Bayley has never beaten me without Sasha Banks" was a fairly succinct summary from Charlotte Flair ahead of 'The Hugger's match with Ember Moon built from their hostilities earlier in the night. Her overriding sentiment was as clear as her intention to take back the SmackDown Women's Championship on Sunday, but the heel titleholder clearly offers a substantially different proposition than before.
Bayley's work again subtly reflected her shift, much as it had done in the fabulous Four Horsewomen tag team match 24 hours earlier. Replacing confidence with cockiness and working like a jerk with a smirk throughout, she's rapidly taken to the role, including the timing of how she backed off from Flair in a post-match confrontation.
Enjoyable Clash Of Champions go-home fodder much like the segment that set it up, this couldn't have been further away from the build for the Tag Team Title feud.
