5. A Successful, If Unremarkable, Encore

A few week's removed from scoring some favourable reviews during her highly anticipated World Premiere, Franky Monet gave the people the encore they were looking for last night.

Coming up against Elektra Lopez, Monet showed off a grittier side to her offence, thumping her opponent into the mat with vicious haymakers at one point. Lopez was no pushover here, though, getting in her own licks in the form of some precise elbows and a flying back elbow. This simply wasn't her night to shine, however. Not long after, Monet was having her arm raised on the back of a devastating Glam Slam, much to the delight of Beth Phoenix on commentary.

You likely won't remember this match in a week, but it did what it needed to do. Monet feels like a fresh new flavour for an always-expanding division and if, as suggested by her interaction with The Robert Stone Brand earlier in the night, she aligns herself with Jessi Kamea and Aliyah in the near future, NXT could have just found itself a new most formidable stable to get behind.
