4. Martinez Jumped, But Still Gets Job Done

Before Mercedes Martinez could even make her way down the CWC ramp this week, her TakeOver: In Your House opponent, Xia Li, decided to take this moment to inflict some last-minute punishment on the former NXT Women's Championship challenger.

You'd be forgiven for assuming that this all led to the star's eventual match with Camron Clay being thrown out as the two rivals warred around at ringside - but you'd be wrong. Not only did Martinez manage to see off her violent future foe, but the absolute badass ordered the ref to ring the bell soon after, drilling Clay with a vicious knee and Air Raid Crash combination for the emphatic win.

Now this no doubt means it will be Li walking away with the 'W' on Sunday night, but who cares? Martinez looked like a bona fide brutaliser here and if/when Li is able to overcome the person she's had an issue with for the better part of four years, she'll feel like a genuine threat too. And God knows, we need more of them in this day and age.
