If youre looking for an example of NXT getting something perfectly right, look no further than Finn Balors costume and entrance at TakeOver: London. In the weeks leading up to TakeOver, the graphic promotion included a shadowy figure of Jack the Ripper strolling down a London street toward the camera. When Balors heartbeat portion of his entrance started playing, the screen displayed the same figure, which gave way to Finn standing up in trench coat and top hat to make his entrance. It was just a phenomenal job of tying everything together and playing to the location of the special event. Sure, Jack the Ripper was a serial killer from the 1880s, which isnt the most PG image, but considering that Balor was looking to get revenge for Samoa Joes treachery, using the Ripper for inspiration certainly worked. Plus, it just looked cool as hell.
