4. Delusional Dolph
Sometimes, we have to assign an “up” or “down” to something when the grade really should be “incomplete.”
That’s the case with Dolph Ziggler, who has morphed into a delusional masochist who not only loses matches, but also then begs to be beaten up even more. He earned himself two additional spears from Goldberg at SummerSlam, and after losing to Miz Monday night, he goaded the Awesome One back, saying he wasn’t even the best wrestler in his family, and got hit with a Skull-Crushing Finale.
So what’s going on here? Is Ziggler just crazy? Does he just not care anymore? Where is this going, other than to more lopsided beat-downs?
WWE has been better recently at being internally consistent, and there’s a decent chance there’s an endgame here, but this just feels like a bad deal for Dolph.
