1. Fail In The Biggest Sense

Only WWE can actively work to undo an ongoing storyline in the name of making Vince McMahon laugh at 3rd-grade humor.

The victims this time were Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, and the vehicle of choice was the traditional holiday food fight disguised as a match. In recent weeks, it looked like WWE was committed to rebuilding Gallows & Anderson as a serious threat of a tag team by having them mow down jovial teams like Golden Truth and Enzo Amore & Big Cass. They ditched their lab coats from their New Day feud and adopted a no-nonsense attitude. And then they won convincingly at Hell in a Cell Sunday.

And then Monday night, Gallows lost a “Trick or Street Fight” to Enzo, complete with a bobbing for apples scene, Luke selling being beaten with a plastic skeleton, and Amore winning with a DDG (jumping DDT) while Gallows was wearing a giant pumpkin on his head. Oh, and Anderson got a pie in his face and went through a table for good measure.

Seriously. And WWE brass wonders why only part-timers and legends from the past move the needle for the company.
