6. Cant Look Away
Its tough to say whether the budding relationship between Darren Young and Bob Backlund is going to be entertaining or not, but it certainly has a train wreck quality about it, in a good way. You just cant turn away because you dont know whats coming next.
Young has said that he and Backlund are friends outside of the program and he pitched this storyline previously, so you know hes committed to making this work. Backlund is just shy of being unhinged all the time and is prone to outbursts, so you never know what hes going to say even if the segments are taped.
Theres also the added benefit that this could be legitimately fun and give Darren a chance to shine on his own. His former Prime Time Players partner Titus ONeil has gotten a couple shots, but Young never really has gotten the same chance. Now hes at least getting a shot.
