For 21 years, the Undertaker dominated WrestleMania. During most of the past decade, the Deadmans Mania matches have been one of the highlights of the event, as he seemed to turn back the clock each year and put on an incredible performance. That changed last year when Brock Lesnar defeated Undertaker and ended his WrestleMania streak. The match itself wasnt up to par, which fans learned later was due in part to Taker suffering a concussion during the match. But the defeat also sapped a lot of Undertakers mystique, and it showed Sunday night. Fans still popped for Takers entrance, his Old School ropewalk and of course the Tombstone Piledriver. But the majority of his match with Bray Wyatt left fans sitting in silence as Wyatt beat on a slow, staggering Undertaker. This was the first time where the fact that Taker is 50 years old really came crashing down. He looked dominated overmatched, not just by Bray, but by wrestling a physical match. The worst part is that after carrying this entire feud on his back the past two months, Bray lost his second straight WrestleMania match. Now, Taker will fade back into the shadows until next year (presumably), while Bray will have to show up on Raw and try to convince fans that hes still relevant and force to be reckoned with.
