At the Royal Rumble last month, Roman Reigns threw the Big Show and Kane over the top rope at the same time in what supposedly was the end of the Rumble match. Little did most of us know, Rusev was still in the match after laying on the floor for several minutes. He came out with a charge thinking that he would challenge Roman Reigns, but after a spear and a toss over the top rope, that was it for Rusev's Royal Rumble. This angered Rusev to the point where he pushed John Cena out of the way of a backstage interview after the Rumble had completed to yell at the camera in Bulgarian. This would in turn anger Cena to lead to an intense face off with the two men had to be restrained by other wrestlers in the locker room. On the Monday Night Raw from the WWE Headquarters on the next night, it was swiftly announced that Rusev and Cena will face each other at Fast Lane later this month. This match-up was rumored for Wrestlemania, so we can probably expect a countout or DQ finish at Fast Lane which continues the feud into Wrestlemania 31 on March 29th. This means we'll get a good solid two months of build up to the payoff at Wrestlemania. This is the first big test for Rusev to make that step up to the elite status of the main card. It is something that was fully expected in 2015 for someone who has not yet been pinned or submitted in the several months that he's been on the main roster. This article takes a look at 10 ways that this feud with John Cena can make a star out of Rusev.
