8 Wild & Unscripted WWE Moments That Made Matches Better

8. Cena Pulls Down Money In The Bank Briefcase Too Early

Oh, John. You just had to go try and top your botched finish from the 2005 Royal Rumble, didn't you? While the ending to 2012's Money in the Bank may not be quite as memorable as that Rumble - which we'll get to soon - it still made for a wonderfully entertaining caper.

The match was, overall, decent, though it certainly looks much worse when comparing it to other Money in the Bank matches. There was a nice spot where Cena put Big Show through the announce table, but other than that, there was nothing worth remembering from this match.

That is until the final seconds.

With Big Show and Big Match John duking it out on top of the ladder, Cena proceeds to try smashing Show over the head with the dangling briefcase. The only problem is, the briefcase barely moves, forcing Show to lean into each hit, which still barely connect.

But in a moment of glorious spontaneity, the clasp on the briefcase decides to break during yet another failed attempt at clocking Show on the head, causing Cena to accidentally be declared the winner and giving us that perfect, meme-ready face.

Now, it's more than likely that Cena was supposed to win all along, but it definitely wasn't supposed to go down like that. And if it hadn't, we would've had nothing to celebrate.
