Jeff Jarrett might be the smartest man in wrestling.

He got his hundreds of thousands from Vince McMahon in impressively ruthless fashion, made himself a world champion many times over in TNA, and managed to end up on top of Anthem presents Impact Wrestling even before the GFW merger. (Though recent reports cast doubt on the legitimacy of the merger, claiming he's on the outs with Anthem and turning over his duties to names like Sonjay Dutt, Scott D'Amore, and Baby Vader himself, John Gaburick).

I doubt getting blackballed from WWE makes any difference to old Double J these days, but when Vince McMahon fires you live on a camera in such gleeful fashion, that's a pretty big sign you're not welcome back.
