8. Kickoff Match: Damien Sandow (Macho Mandow) & Curtis Axel (AxelMania) Vs. The Ascension
This is a comedy match, so it's perfectly fine on the Kickoff Show before the PPV begins. The comedy work by Sandow and Axel should be pretty good. It's a nice bit of nostalgia to see them doing the mannerisms of Macho Man and Hulk Hogan. It's really sad to see how far The Ascension have fallen on the main roster. Being booked like complete jokes isn't what a lot of us expected after seeing them dominate on NXT the past few years. Obviously the booking helped them a lot on NXT. It's just a surprise to see how they are portrayed on the main roster. Look for Sandow and Axel to find a way to get the win. Axel will do some Hulking Up while Sandow will hit a Flying Elbow off the top and that should be enough to be victorious. The good thing about it is that they haven't been doing this tag team thing for long. In a month or two it might be boring. For now it's still okay. Winners: Sandow & Axel
