8 WWE Stars In Dire Need Of A 2017 Draft

Time for the 'Architect' to build something on Tuesday nights...

It's still unclear whether or not WWE will run a fully-fledged Draft this summer, or if the so-called 'Superstar Shakeup' is all we're getting in 2017. If that proves to be the case, then a whole load of stars are gonna' be treading water for the foreseeable future.

Less than a full year following the brand extension, names as big as Randy Orton, Bayley, and Seth Rollins are in need of a switch across both Raw and SmackDown's rosters; there's just nothing left for them to do on their current shows. Should WWE decide against a Draft, then keeping these stars busy until the end of 2018 is going to be challenging.

The Shakeup in April wasn't enough. WWE tweaked the rosters in the first place because things were getting stale, but the whole thing felt like an appetiser had been served rather than the delicious main course. WWE would be doing themselves a disservice by keeping things exactly as they are until next year...

8. Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows

Sadly, the only way for Gallows and Anderson to go on Monday Night Raw is down. After briefly flirting with the Raw Tag-Team Titles at the turn of the year, the duo haven't really come close to getting back in that mix. Raw's writers can take the blame for that; they killed Gallows and Anderson's menace back during that 'Old Day' nonsense last year.

Getting that aura back should be paramount, and SmackDown is the best place for the team to do it. On Raw, they are overshadowed by Sheamus and Cesaro as the top heels, but on Tuesday nights they'd only really have The Usos to contend with in that spot. There's no reason why both teams couldn't co-exist either.

Setting things right and actually giving fans a proper Club vs. New Day feud would also be cool. WWE went down the comedy route last time, and that's a shame considering the ass-kicking feel to Gallows and Anderson during their time in NJPW.

These guys need to push the reset button and get back to basics.
