Who saw this one coming? It seemed like a foregone conclusion that Barrett would get a victory against R-Truth but lo and behold, Truth won. It's like WWE doesn't want King of the Ring to mean anything. Seriously, why immediately bury the winner of a tournament with such history?

In hindsight, it really shouldn't of been that big of a shocker. Barrett is always booked poorly and it was just last month that he was eliminated first from the Elimination Chamber by R-Truth. 

Not sure where Barrett goes from here but surely it can't be lower. As for Truth, kudos to him for beating the 2015 King of the Ring winner. Maybe he can use this momentum for a Intercontinental Championship challenge or at least a somewhat competitive answer to John Cena's U.S. Open Challenge.
