5. Will Rusev Get Revenge?

The feud between United States Champion Rusev and #1 contender Zack Ryder has been an odd one. Ryder challenged Rusev to a title match but ran away from Sheamus. He then stood up to the Bulgarian Brute and lost a match to Sheamus (payback for pinning him twice in a week, apparently).

Ryder hasn’t gotten the upper hand on Rusev in this feud – unless you count providing a small distracting, allowing Dolph Ziggler to get a rollup victory. Otherwise, it’s just been a couple small victories for Ryder as he looks outmatched by the champ. It’s more likely that WWE is using Ryder in the same way they used Titus O’Neil: as a flavor-of-the-month challenger.

Knowing that, you’ve got to imagine Rusev will be looking for revenge against Zack for costing him the match on Smackdown. Will Rusev succeed in crushing Ryder before Battleground?
