With news of Kofi Kingston's aborted post-WWE Championship loss storyline doing the rounds, it's easy to lose hope in the entire process let alone The New Day's place within it.

The same, sort of, can be said for The Revival too. Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson are again being talked about as ex-Superstars rather than current ones thanks to their contracts nearing ever closer to expiry and WWE's recent surprise kink for releasing talents. After a strange year of in-ring successes and creative failures, they still haven't really found where they fit on Raw or SmackDown and appear as though they never really will.

If AEW is calling, expect WWE to have them lay down as much as possible on the way out. And if they're not...expect WWE to have them lay down as much as possible because they can't make up their minds on them at all.
