9 Match Star Ratings For WWE WrestleMania 38 Night 2

2. Mr. McMahon Vs. Pat McAfee

This was Heroes of Wrestling-tier horrendous.

Mr. McMahon performed disgracefully in a dire stunt that he just about got away with - ironically by doing something even worse in the post-match, something so hysterically awful that you could only laugh. Provided, of course, that you are willing to perceive Vince McMahon as a bizarrely endearing old man, and not a ruthless businessman that prioritised profits over the welfare of talent during a pandemic amongst countless other horrific behaviours.

Eeeeh, what is Vince like, eh?

An evil billionaire.

New rule: you're no longer allowed to criticise Kenny Omega for bumping for a blow-up doll. What Pat McAfee was asked to do here was far more egregious. This obviously strove for so-bad-it's-good - it was a stupid stunt angle - but it was more silly than anything DDT has conjured up. The sheer bleak arthritic inertia that was Vince shuffling about the place was an embarrassment, obviously. Again: you could only watch this affectionately. And what does that say?

It was just a backdrop to the worst Stunner ever in the end, and really, who gives a f*ck. Avuncular old Vince made a t*t of himself for your entertainment one last time.

What a guy.
