There's no doubting the fact that Money in the Bank 2016 was one of the most surprisingly satisfying PPVs in a long time, largely because not only was the World Heavyweight Title taken off Roman Reigns, but both Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose held it over the few minutes that followed.
Still, if you take away that terrific finish, the show as a whole was incredibly hit-and-miss, and there were really only three truly good, memorable matches on the whole PPV. The rest ranged from bad-to-average, though this could easily have been remedied somewhat by some fairly basic changes to how the show was booked and organised.
WWE are lucky that they concluded MITB in such insane fashion, because the backlash towards the undercard would be much more severe otherwise.

9. Not Having Three Bathroom Break Matches In A Row
It majorly hurt the show that, following a decent (if botchy) opening Fatal 4-Way tag match, fans were forced to sit through three incredibly snoozy bouts (Corbin-Ziggler, the women's tag match and Crews-Sheamus) that basically sucked all the energy out of the arena ahead of AJ Styles vs. John Cena.
For around 45 minutes of its first hour-plus, it was a total bore, with three matches that nobody was particularly interested in being bunched together rather than separated throughout the card.
Had these duds been spread out during the show, they might not have made fans feel quite so exhausted. Instead, it just invited viewers to mentally check out until the good stuff came back.
