9 Reasons Nikki Bella Outlasting AJ Lee's WWE Diva Title Reign Was Best For Business

1. Charlotte Isn't Over Enough

I'm writing this confident in the assumption that Charlotte is probably going to dethrone Nikki at Night of Champions just a few days removed from her surpassing AJ's record. But if the last few weeks of WWE TV have shown us anything, it's that she simply isn't ready. As a babyface, her character is nothing more than impressive athleticism and Ric Flair's genetics. She went from talking about how she wanted to carve out her own path in the business, to strutting and "woooo"ing and having her father at ringside for her big matches. She's not drawing great reactions and isn't the one WWE should have picked to be the successor to Nikki, That honor should have gone to Sasha Banks. She's the only one of the three recent call-ups who has thus far shown the ability to be the total package, She's a standout in the ring and her character work is top notch. Unfortunately WWE shoved her in the ridiculous Team B.A.D. nonsense and has kept her out of the title picture. The quicker they drop the team concept the better. These women all need a chance to work and get over on their own without being anchored to other talents who either outshine them or drag them down. Do you think Nikki should have broken AJ Lee's Divas championship reign? Let us know in the comments.
