When fans attend a WWE show that is to be shown on televisions (and mobile devices) all over the world, it's reasonable to expect that once the live broadcast has gone off the air, the show is over. Well, that's not always true. Many shows will have a dark match main event take place in the arena, for the benefit of only the live audience who paid for a ticket to be there on that night. Think of it as an arena exclusive, these matches don't even air on the constantly growing WWE Network. In years past when this concept really began to gain popularity, it often wasn't even a match that kept the fans in the arena long after the live feed went off. WWE has actually released an entire DVD/Blu-Ray release that revolves around these segments, called "The Best of RAW: After The Show". The majority of the events seen in this release were from 2000-2010 and featured many of the most popular WWE superstars often breaking character at the end of the evening. Whether it was Vince McMahon and Triple H attempting to make The Undertaker to perform Booker T's signature Spinarooni or Steve Austin drinking beers with Hulk Hogan, the non-televised endings to live WWE events were often the most entertaining aspects of the entire show. So next time you're in the building for a WWE show, stick around for the whole thing or you just might miss a memorable moment.
