This week's Collision main event was everything it needed to be. Ahead of facing Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne at Full Gear next weekend, this show-closer was simply a first run-out for the babyface trio of Sting, Darby Allin, and Adam Copeland.

Essentially, this was merely a case of showing how well these babyfaces work together, giving them a largely formulaic win over Lance Archer and the Righteous. The end came when Copeland hit Vincent with the Spear for the 1-2-3, and this was basically your paint-by-numbers six-man to whet your appetite for Full Gear.

In terms of whetting appetites, this main event was followed by Cage, Luchasaurus, and Wayne coming out on the stage to stare at their PPV opponents. And that was about it.

Truthfully, the highlight of the match was likely Nigel McGuinness comparing Darby to the unrelenting T-1000 of Terminator 2 fame. Other than that, this main event was very much in tune with the rest of this Collision outing; solid, steady, unspectacular.
