A fairly standard Violent By Design promo saw the Eric Young-helmed faction celebrate their victory of the World Tag Team Championships, with ‘The World Class Maniac’ going into detail about the recruitment process of sorts for each of the three members.

‘EY’ noted how he needed like-minded people for the group’s success; Joe Doering was a must-have because of his dominance throughout Japan. Deaner was a must-have because he was at his lowest point, allowing Young to have free reign over the former Cody to turn him into a vile individual. Rhino was a must-have because he wasn’t the same ‘War Machine’ who carved a path in ECW, and also because he held the Call Your Shot trophy.

Just when the former World Champion was explaining how VBD will be taking over the world, Satoshi Kojima debuted, simply uttered “Against All Odds”, and the match was made. Kojima vs. Joe Doering at the 12 June special.

That match is going to be some serious hoss fight business. Their last encounter was on 11 January 2010. They haven’t shared a ring in over a decade. It’s going to be insane. Your writer has goosebumps just thinking about it.
