Victory Road marked a strong return to Impact Plus specials this past Saturday. With Bound For Glory now sitting at less than three weeks away, Impact Wrestling needed to continue that momentum train into the three weekly shows left before the 24 October pay-per-view, and boy, have they done so already.

This week alone, we saw history made, as Jordynne Grace became the first woman to challenge for the X Division Championship against Rohit Raju, which also led to a huge multi-person title bout being set for the pay-per-view. Additionally, both the World Championship and World Tag Team Championships matches saw major story developments, while Kylie Rae and Ken Shamrock both snapped on Kimber Lee and a security guard respectively.

In non-Bound For Glory related news, Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz had their greatest match as a tandem since their formation as they battled Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie, Heath came so close to finally earning himself an Impact contract from Scott D'Amore, and EC3 held a funeral for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. As it turns out, 'The Essential Character' isn't aware of the correct funeral procedures.
