3. Candice Wrestling Arrives
Once Johnny Gargano made his surprise return to WWE several weeks ago, you had to figure it would only be a matter of time before his wife Candice LeRae would make her return to the company.
That wondering ended Monday when LeRae debuted on Raw, defeating Nikki ASH in a short match to signal her arrival. LeRae would later confront Damage CTRL, standing up to Bayley and then challenging Dakota Kai.
Like Gargano, Candice left WWE when her contract expired earlier this year. Unlike Johnny, she gave birth earlier this year, making her return to the ring even more impressive.
Widely regarded as a talented, well-travelled and excellent wrestler, LeRae adds more depth to a women’s division that had been sorely lacking in it just a couple of months ago.
