With Genesis on 9 January, and Hard To Kill a week later on 16 January, Impact Wrestling did everything they possibly could to build as much hype as possible for both shows last night. Now, both events - especially Hard To Kill - are a must-watch for fans, as if they weren't already.

First and foremost, Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards' rivalry didn't reach its conclusion. Surprise, surprise, right? Don't be upset, though. They're now set to do battle again next Saturday in the fourth Barbed Wire Massacre bout in Impact history. It's arguably the most extreme stipulation the promotion has ever made use of. For such a rivalry, it's a perfect fit.

Elsewhere on the episode, Havok and Nevaeh advanced to the finals of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships Tournament, Matthew Palmer lasted the three minutes with Moose that the TNA champion was adamant Palmer was incapable of, Blake Christian and KC Navarro debuted while Ace Austin returned in a preview of the Super X Cup at Genesis, Cody Deaner debuted his new look alongside Eric Young and Joe Doering, and Ethan Page will wrestle his alter ego, The Karate Man, at Hard To Kill.
