2. Someone Teach McAfee How To Sell

WWE

See if this breaks your brain…

Gunther, a dominant former World Heavyweight Champion who has beaten everyone put in front of him and only lost a handful of times since joining WWE, went on a rampage Monday night and locked announcer Pat McAfee (who has eight matches to his name) in a rear-naked choke for a solid minute.

And McAfee got up after lying on the floor for a bit and walked to the back mostly under his own power. He coughed a lot, walked slowly, and sported a bright red face, but he made his way up the aisle and even slapped fans’ hands.

What are we doing here? This was such an easy call: have the officials carry him to the back and to the trainer’s room. Pat didn’t need to do a stretcher job here, but a guy who lost to Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 38 probably shouldn’t be recovering that quickly from a full minute in the devastating submission finisher of a former world champion.
