8. Hooray For Friendship
Though recent months have seen tension simmer between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, last night brought them closer together.
WWE presented their backstage segment in a way that suggested they'd been promised one Money In The Bank ladder match spot between them. Recent patterns would suggest this leading to bickering, further testing their friendship, but a selfless act saw Sonya Deville step aside and gift it to 'God's Greatest Creation,' who hugged her and said "you're the best" to close.
It was nice to see a genuine act of kindness between two WWE heels. This slither of Rose/Deville character development was more effective than just straight-up announcing Rose as part of the match, and it strengthened their kayfabe bond at a time when the women's tag division really needs them.
