9 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 3rd)
Raw rebounds with solid if unspectacular episode. With 100% less pee!
After one of the worst Monday Night Raws in a long, long time, WWE rebounded in several ways this week with a more competent, logical program.
Despite the overwhelming positives this week that might be due to grading on a curve, as well as a couple solid segments and very few truly negative moments. Raw hummed a long nicely overall, save for a few confusing moments. Unfortunately, this episode wasn’t terribly memorable, aside from Finn Balor almost having a perfect night, and Baron Corbin showing up on film about a half-dozen times.
We saw Lucha House Party continue their strange winning ways. We saw Dolph Ziggler stand up for himself and emerge victorious. We saw Finn Balor finally do what babyfaces always stink at: coordinating and helping each other out. And we saw an acting GM who clearly has lost his marbles.
Raw delivered where it needed to, and so it gets passing marks overall. It remains to be seen whether TLC lives up to the hype, especially without a top title being defended and no Raw tag title match being announced.
