2. Paying It Forward
You can sometimes tell when a wrestler is really fired up about their promo. Becky Lynch certainly looked like she was enjoying herself Monday night.
Lynch came to the ring a week after Shayna Baszler bit her neck carrying a paper bag. She then proceeded to start tossing money around the ring, calling it a down payment on future fines she’s planning on racking up once she gets her hands on Shayna.
It was a really nice touch, with Lynch pledging to incite violence on the former NXT Women’s Champion because she wants to, not because she has to.
Baszler then set the stage for WrestleMania by noting that she was in the women’s Elimination Chamber match – a cage of sorts, which is her natural habitat – and the winner would face Becky at Mania. Lynch wished her luck, but odds are, she won’t need it.
