Ups...

9. Deadman Fake-Out

Sometimes it€™s the little things that merit a thumbs-up. In this case, it was Vince McMahon using the Undertaker€™s entrance to throw son Shane McMahon €“ and the entire audience €“ off.

In the middle of Shane€™s show-opening promo, the Undertaker€™s €œgong€ sounded, and the lights turned out. Fans understandably freaked, as the Deadman wasn€™t advertised for Raw, but if ever there was a good time to surprise a crowd, it would be in Chicago.

Instead, Vince€™s entrance quickly hit, letting everyone know that he was playing them.

One thing that could (if WWE ever decides to explore the UT/Vince relationship in this situation) come of Vince using Undertaker€™s entrance is Taker not being too pleased. First he€™s bossed around and called Vince€™s creation (multiple times) and now the chairman is using his entrance. If Vince keeps appropriating parts of Taker€™s persona and keeps insinuating that he owns the Deadman, then we might have something here.
