Kevin Owens has had one of the best debut years in recent memory, with a clean victory over John Cena in his first match and now two Intercontinental Championship reigns under his belt. What better way to cap off his run than with a strong showing at WrestleMania? As previously mentioned, it looks like there's an open spot against The Undertaker, and most would suggest Owens as a worthy candidate. Now that he's a champion once again, however, the chances of seeing a clash between the two are dwindling. Instead, he could be up against basically anybody on the mid-card. The potential is there for guys like Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles to face him, but the best option storyline-wise would be to reignite his long-running rivalry with Sami Zayn. We saw them battle it out at the Rumble, so it's not an impossibility. Sure, Zayn is gearing up to face Shinsuke Nakamura at NXT Takeover: Dallas, but he could still pull double duty. Kevin Owens is scheduled to defend the Intercontinental Title against Dolph Ziggler this Sunday, and a strong victory against the veteran would allow him to keep his momentum going forward. Then he can jump into it with whoever his 'Mania dance partner is.
