9 Wrestlers That Need To Shine Bright At WWE Fastlane 2016

4. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is all but confirmed to face Triple H for the title at WrestleMania 32, we know that much for sure. Whether or not it's a triple threat involving Dean Ambrose remains to be seen, but odds are it's going to be one-on-one in the main event. That means Roman Reigns' work is done, right? Wrong. WWE should be trying their very best to have Roman Reigns go into WrestleMania as the sole babyface, and Triple H as the heel. A double turn just won't work given Triple H's part-time status. Thus, Fastlane may be WWE's last chance to create fan support for Reigns. The issue here is that we already know how this Sunday is going down, or at least, the most probable outcome. Lesnar closes in on a victory, the Wyatt Family screws him over, and Roman Reigns gets the pinfall over Dean Ambrose. The biggest problem with this scenario is that Reigns picks up the victory by the skin of his teeth. Why should anyone get behind him if he's only in the WrestleMania main event because of a fluke? With that said, and despite the obvious joke within the statement, Reigns needs to look really strong at Fastlane. There's too much on the line, so if it's really necessary to have Lesnar get taken out, it should happen relatively early so Reigns still has to earn it. Maybe have Lesnar come back at the very end only to eat a superman punch before Reigns hits one final emphatic spear on 'The Lunatic Fringe'. We're far too close to WrestleMania to be playing games, and so the inevitable challenger for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship needs to earn it definitively at Fastlane.
