WWE look set to finally pay off a throwaway CM Punk line from way back in 2011, with the company launching their new Super Stars ice cream sandwich line in conjunction with Good Humor.

As noted by Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin yesterday, Good Humor quietly added the products back to their website with Roman Reigns and Randy Savage's images printed on the cookies, though there are a few changes from the original run.

First introduced back in 1987, WWE's old ice cream bar line was discontinued in 2008. They used to feature chocolate and a stick - this isn't the case in 2020, though.

WWE's ice cream treats re-entered the pro-wrestling zeitgeist in 2011, when 'The Voice of the Voiceless' brought them up as part of his Summer of Punk programme. Punk had threatened to walk out on the promotion with the WWE Championship if Vince McMahon didn't give in to his new contract demands, one of which was for the ice creams to return, and it looks like the Chairman has finally relented. Sort of.

Perhaps their comeback could be a sweetener to get Punk to return to the ring in 2020?

No, it definitely isn't.
