ACH Retires From Wrestling
The former ROH, NJPW, and WWE wrestler announced his wrestling retirement on Wednesday.
Independent wrestler ACH has announced his retirement after 14 years in the sport.
The 33-year-old broke the news in a short Instagram post on Wednesday, writing the following:-
“No need for the dramatic or emotional word play. As of today I will officially step away from professional wrestling. Thank you all for the support and love.”
ACH had been a free agent since November 2019, when he returned to the independent circuit after leaving WWE under difficult circumstances. Signed that February and rebranded as Jordan Myles, he worked a short televised run highlighted by winning the first NXT Breakout Tournament, earning a shot at NXT Champion Adam Cole in the process, though he was out of the rotation after speaking out against a Myles t-shirt with clear racist connotations.
Returning to the indies after his release, ACH also worked for MLW in 2020 and on NJPW STRONG until February 2021. His last match was a victory over Davey Vega at AAW's Take No Prisoners 2021 event on 7 May.
Breaking out on the Texan indie circuit in the late 2000s and early 2010s, ACH's first big break came with ROH, before he hit Japan for the first time in 2016. The high-flyer also worked for IMPACT Wrestling briefly in 2017.
