Action Bronson Training For In-Ring AEW Debut?
Rapper worker with ECW legend after AEW All Out 2022 appearance.
It sounds like All Elite Wrestling hasn't seen the last of Action Bronson.
The rapper appeared at the promotion's All Out 2022 pay-per-view on 4 September, hitting the ring during the Zero Hour pre-show. With partner Angelo Parker defeated by HOOK in an FTW World Championship match, Matt Menard leapt on the babyface, prompting Bronson (whose song, 'The Chairman's Intent', acts as HOOK's AEW entrance theme) to make the save.
Menard got tossed out of the ring by Bronson. Seconds later, Parker was thrown across the canvas in something resembling a suplex, leaving Action standing with HOOK while 2point0 seethed.
Afterwards, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bronson has been training with HOOK and his legendary father, Taz, ahead of potentially stepping between the ropes.
Speculatively, this might point toward the upcoming Grand Slam special on Wednesday 21 September. That show takes place in Bronson's home borough of Queens, New York.
Bronson's wrestling fandom is well-known in hip-hop circles. The rapper has constantly made references to the sport in his work for years now, even titling a song after legendary jobber Barry Horowitz on his 2011 debut album, Dr. Lecter.
