AEW All In Update - Is The Fan Backlash Justified?
AEW All In card nears completion after last week's backlash.
A Stadium Stampede match and Kenny Omega trios bout were announced for AEW All In: London during last night's Dynamite, with the Sunday, 27 August pay-per-view lineup now nearing completion.
The Blackpool Combat Club and three partners to be announced will face Eddie Kingston, the Lucha Brothers, Best Friends, and Orange Cassidy in a 12-person Stadium Stampede, the first to take place in AEW outwith the United States. Omega, meanwhile, teams with Kota Ibushi and 'Hangman' Adam Page against Konosuke Takeshita, Jay White, and Juice Robinson.
A Chris Jericho vs. Will Ospreay singles match was also added to the lineup, while Britt Baker entered the Women's World Championship four-way with a win over The Bunny, joining champion Hikaru Shida, Toni Storm, and Saraya.
AEW's All In card was the subject of mass online debate last week, when Dave Meltzer reported the Omega trios match in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. As last night's announcements were aligned with Meltzer's reporting, it seems unlikely that those who feel that card doesn't justify the size of the occasion (AEW has distributed over 80,000 tickets thus far) are unlikely to be satiated.
