10. AEW Swerves On The Trios Titles

Vince Russo f*cking loved a right good (good?) swerve during the dying days of WCW. The 'other Vince' just couldn't resist taking fan expectations and then doing the complete opposite; that was true even when those expected results made more sense from a booking perspective.

Anyone other than The Elite becoming AEW's first Trios Champs would be Russo-esque. In fact, it might make some fans converge upon the back halls of the Now Arena to find out whether or not he was actually in cahoots with Tony Khan and booking some matches on the undercard.

Either The Dark Order or Best Friends will wrestle Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks for those brand new belts, but neither should come out on the winning end. Sadly, this fan can see Will Ospreay getting involved to screw over Omega before launching a singles feud with him.

That'd leave the Trios Title struggling from day one. GREAT.
