Double Or Nothing 2021 was a really good wrestling pay-per-view.

The live crowd enhanced almost everything, to be fair, but AEW put on a memorable show that will be treasured by many for years to come. They even found the time to thank people for their support during the pandemic by stapling a little "Thank You" note to MJF's head. How nice.

That wasn't one of the 37 hidden gems here, but there's still loads to get through without it.

One AEW act couldn't stop itself from referencing Roman Reigns during a match with Jon Moxley, and another gave into temptation by mentioning Edge during the 'Casino Battle Royale'. Those WWE tributes didn't feel forced or out-of-place either, which is a credit to how well everything flowed on the night; usually, mentioning the competition plays before rolled eyes. Not so here.

Double Or Nothing had real emotion too. Hell, you know it's good when even staff members look a bit choked up. Head on over to FITE TV for the full replay. For now, here's everything you might've missed from the biggest AEW pay-per-view of 2021...so far.

37. This Wonderful Shot

AEW

How gorgeous is that shot above?

AEW ran an alternative camera angle of Daily's Place right before the pay-per-view went live, and it looked incredible. Sunshine came cascading in, the live crowd were buzzing and the giant video wall towered over everything.

Workers are really, really lucky to wrestle in a place like that.

36. “Horse With A Hangover”

AEW

Hangman Page's entrance graphic said he was a "Horse With A Hangover". It's just as well his horse wasn't sick instead of hungover. Y'know, like Terry Funk's steed apparently was back at Survivor Series 1993; Google that story if you don't know it.

You won't regret it.

35. Page Still Doesn’t Look

AEW

Page might end up injured, never mind hungover or sick, if he doesn't start looking behind him before performing that moonsault spot to the outside. Hangman has never taken to checking if his opponent is in position before leaping, and it scares the living sh*te out of this writer.

It's also illogical. Why would Page leap into such a daring move without making sure there's a landing pad behind him first?
