After two years in Jacksonville, Florida, AEW Double Or Nothing is returning to Las Vegas in 2022.

Tony Khan confirmed as much during yesterday's pre-Full Gear 2021 media call. The AEW founder and president stopped short of confirming a date for the pay-per-view, however.

AEW's original intention for Double Or Nothing was to hold its signature casino-themed show in Vegas every year. This started with the 2019 event, which went down that May, and would have likely been the case in 2020 and 2021 as well if not for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Double Or Nothing 2020 turned out to be a landmark event as it was the first pay-per-view AEW had held in an empty Daily's Place, Jacksonville during the lockdown era. Then, a year later, the promotion welcomed its biggest number of fans since the pandemic began for DoN 2021, which signalled the start of a transition for AEW and wrestling as a whole. As the company's first fully-attended show since March 2020, it was a big show.

AEW's final PPV of 2021, Full Gear, goes down tomorrow (13 November). Revolution 2022 will take place between now and Double Or Nothing, though the promotion is yet to make a formal announcement on that.
