2. Dustin Vs. Cody

Result: Cody finally puts his brother away with the Cross Rhodes (22:30).

Rating: Nobody was expecting much of a great wrestling match from these two, but following three intense workrate-focused bouts, it was just the bloody, ugly slug-fest the audience needed, with extremely emotional storytelling to boot.

Dustin earned the "you've still got it" chants in what's surely one of his strongest ever in-ring performances.

The use of blood felt like another statement-of-intent from AEW, and though you can argue it went a little over-the-top, it absolutely added to the drama of the match.

This was more a fun demolition derby than a technical showcase, of course, and exactly what it needed to be - the crowd was red-hot and the desperation in the later stretches was sold terrifically.

Dustin winning would've been a great moment, but the finish made sense and the post-match hug-out was wonderful. 9/10
