Taking to his Facebook page (via the Wrestling Observer), Bandido revealed that he broke his wrist during his match against Konosuke Takeshita on the most recent episode of AEW Rampage.

As Bandido detailed, he suffered a triangular fibrocartilage complex injury that will require surgery. That said, the former PWG World Champion will be going for a second opinion on Monday before he goes under the knife.

After visa issues earlier in the year, Bandido returned to AEW action in April, with him recently having teamed up with the Lucha Bros. pairing of Penta El Ziero Miedo and Rey Fenix in trios action.

Bandido first appeared in AEW back in September of last year, where he came up short against Chris Jericho for the ROH World Title on an AEW Dynamite offering. The 28-year-old then formally became #AllElite in November.

For those who missed it, Friday's AEW Rampage saw Bandido lose to Konosuke Takeshita in a match that has received plentiful praise from fans, and was reportedly a contest that impressed many backstage in AEW.
