Speaking on SO CATCH by Hal 2 (as per WrestlingNews.co), the fourth-generation wrestler revealed that WWE is somewhere he would like to work eventually, but "not in this moment".

"At some point, I'd like to go to WWE. Not in this moment, but I hope later. I was in WWE. They invited me to the Performance Center. They give me a Camaro for all my week to drive. That was amazing. I made good amigos."

Bandido made a name for himself in companies such as Lucha Libre Elite, AAA, CMLL, Pro Wrestling Guerilla and Ring of Honor before making his AEW debut on the 28 September 2022 episode of Dynamite. There, the former PWG World Champion came up short against then-ROH World Champion Chris Jericho. So impressed were officials from both AEW and WWE at that in-ring outing, the 27-year-old immediately had offers to sign with either promotion.

In terms of why Bandido opted to pen a deal with AEW rather than WWE, this was a decision said to be based around his family situation. The AEW schedule means that Bandido, his partner, and their child don't need to relocate from Mexico, whereas any move to WWE would likely require relocating to Orlando, Florida initially, and then there's the hectic schedule that comes with any jump to the company's main roster.

As for the hugely talented star's time with AEW, it's so far been composed of relatively sporadic appearances, with the one-time ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champion having competed just four times for Tony Khan's promotion since becoming #AllElite - the most recent of which came against Bryan Danielson on the 18 January episode of Dynamite.
