In news that may not come as much of a surprise, given he has been all over company television as of late, Daniel Garcia has signed with AEW.

This is according to Garcia himself on Evil Uno's latest vlog. Running through the 23-year-old's recent accomplishments, Uno mentioned Daniel had been signed, then asked if this was supposed to be a secret. "I think it's cool, just say it," Garcia responded, effectively giving confirmation.

Garcia first wrestled for AEW in September 2020, working a Dark taping at Daily's Place. He returned in May of this year, then again in August, after which he became a more regular fixture across the company's TNT and YouTube shows.

Last week's episode of Rampage hosted Garcia's most high-profile AEW match to date, as he wrestled CM Punk in the opener.

AEW are yet to officially announce Daniel's signing, though company president Tony Khan said the following of him in August, confirming an "agreement":-

“He is under an agreement, and I think he can do a lot more things and really shine for us in the future, and really stay with us for a long time, hopefully. Daniel Garcia is doing great work and he had a great match with Moxley tonight in the main event match of the show.”

Garcia remains active on the independent scene while working with AEW, having wrestled the likes of Christopher Daniels, Minoru Suzuki, and Alex Shelley in recent weeks.
