Neither Jamie Nayter nor Bryan Danielson has a concrete timetable for returning to AEW, with company founder and CEO Tony Khan reticent to provide one during a recent conversation with PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

Danielson and Hayter are both currently sidelined through injury. Khan acknowledged their "different situations," but stated there is more clarity on Danielson's injury than Hayter's. While Khan is confident Danielson will be back before 2023 ends, he can't yet say the same for Jamie.

Said the AEW founder:-

"Well, those are two great talents to the top stars in AEW, Jamie Hayter, and of course the American Dragon, Bryan Danielson. They're different situations. I think there's a little more clarity as to when Bryan Danielson will be back from his injury. I am very excited to get Bryan back. I don't want to put a timetable because it's a challenging injury and a tough recovery, but I'm very confident Bryan will be back later this year. I'm still not sure when Jamie Hayter will be cleared and she doesn't know and we don't know, but hopefully sooner rather than later. Bryan, I am very confident you'll see in a matter of months though."

Hayter went down with a shoulder injury in May, necessitating her dropping the AEW Women's World Championship to Toni Storm at Double or Nothing 2023. Danielson, meanwhile, has been dealing with multiple problems, including a fractured forearm suffered while competing against Kazuchika Okada at Forbidden Door in June.

On the women's division in general, Khan commented that the scene has suffered from a number of injuries lately, providing an update on the soon-to-return Bunny:-

"A lot of the great female wrestlers right now are out injured and we've had a lot of injuries across the division, people we haven't seen in a long time. So whether it's been some of our great hardcore wrestlers like Penelope Ford or The Bunny who's getting close to returning to the ring thankfully, that we've missed. Or Red Velvet, Abadon, Serena Deeb, but a number of people that have been out injured across that division."

The long-absent Kyle O'Reilly was also mentioned, again without a timetable:-

"We haven't had Kyle O'Reilly able to compete in a long time, and he's somebody that we really value and have missed. And have a number of other people that have been out with injuries across the company. But certainly you asked about two of our top stars and they're in different situations with Bryan and Jamie."
