All Elite Wrestling is actively working towards bolstering its oft-maligned women's division, having revealed that it is in negotiations with two top free agents.

A recent live stream conducted on the company's YouTube channel saw them ask fans which women's wrestlers they'd like to see join the promotion. The most popular replies were Tessa Blanchard, Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, Tay Conti, Ivelisse, and Diamante, with AEW responding that they are currently speaking to two of these names.

A handful can be ruled out straight away. Green is currently contracted to WWE and Grace to Impact Wrestling, where she is a former Knockouts Champion. Blanchard can't be eliminated entirely, though her future is thought to lie in WWE, having left Impact under a storm of controversy earlier this year.

This would leave Conti, Ivelisse, and Diamante as the most realistic options. All three appeared in ongoing Deadly Draw Women's Tag Team Cup tournament, with Ivelisse and Diamante set to wrestle The Nightmare Sisters in Saturday's finals. Released by WWE in April, Conti debuted for the promotion through the tourney, teaming with Anna Jay until Ivelisse and Diamante knocked them out in the semi-finals.
