AEW Officially Files To Trademark 'The Pinnacle'
MJF's new heel stable 'The Pinnacle' is the latest name AEW have filed to trademark.
AEW have officially decided to file to trademark the name of MJF's new heel faction 'The Pinnacle' with The United States Patent and Trademark Office, according to Heel By Nature.
The fresh stable, comprised of one-time Inner Circle members MJF and Wardlow, 'The Chairman' Shawn Spears, wrestling legend Tully Blanchard, and former AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR, made headlines around the world upon attacking Chris Jericho and his pals a few weeks ago on Dynamite.
Said trademark was filed on March 16 for entertainment services, and entered into the trademark database on March 19. The full details for the trademark are as follows:
"Providing a website featuring entertainment information in the fields of wrestling; Providing an Internet website portal featuring entertainment news and information specifically in the field of wrestling; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a group or individual wrestlers; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a group or individual wrestlers; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network."
In other news, the stable's leader MJF also recently filed to trademark his own name to use for merchandise and entertainment services.
What the future holds for 'The Pinnacle' and MJF is still largely up in the air. However, if the most recent edition of Dynamite was anything to go by, it appears 'The Salt of the Earth' and his new cronies are far from finished with 'Le Champion' and his band of brothers. Fingers crossed we see an Inner Circle/Pinnacle war before 2021 reaches its end.
