AEW officials are said to be delighted with the Stadium Stampede match pre-taped for tonight's Double Or Nothing 2020 pay-per-view.

This is the word of PWInsider, who reported earlier today that the promotion filmed the bout in Jacksonville's TIAA Bank Field last night in order to avoid dead air on the pay-per-view broadcast itself. They wrapped at around about 5am this morning and everyone involved is said to be delighted with how it came out.

For what it's worth, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez have both tweeted corroborating PWInsider's report.

The bout will pit Matt Hardy and The Elite against Chris Jericho's Inner Circle stable. It'll go down in the empty stadium with a wrestling ring set up in the middle of the football field, and will feature no disqualifications, no countouts, with falls counting anywhere.

It'll be interesting to see how AEW presents the Stadium Stampede, as a WWE-style cinematic affair doesn't stand out as something the promotion would go for. Regardless, as the hottest programme in the company right now, there's a solid chance it'll be the night's main event.
