Following the tragic passing of Andy Williams, aka The Butcher, over the weekend, last night's AEW Dynamite opened up with an 'in memoriam' graphic to remember Andy.

Later in the show, Excalibur would lead a tribute to Andy, noting that "we are worse off without Andy, but we are significantly better off for having had him at all. Though it may haunt us and break our hearts, death cannot tear us apart. We'll miss you."

It was announced that this Saturday's episode of Collision, which takes place at Springfield, Massachusetts' MassMutual Center, will continue to pay tribute to Andy Williams. No matches have been announced for that Collision as of this writing.

This past Saturday night saw news start to emerge that Andy had suffered a medical incident during a tag team match for Enjoy Wrestling in Pennsylvania. It was sadly confirmed later that night that Andy had passed away at the age of just 48. The wrestling world and beyond were quick to pay tribute to a man who was clearly beloved by many, and those tributes continued on Dynamite last night and will continue on Collision this weekend.
