AEW Revolution: 10 Things That Must Happen

By the time Revolution kicks off this Saturday, AEW will have gone a full 112 days since its last pay-per-view. Compare that to WWE's heavy schedule of important events (Royal Rumble and WrestleMania) interspersed with lesser ones (Super ShowDown and Elimination Chamber) and the contrast between both promotion's approaches becomes clear.

Unlike Vinnie Mac's non-stop calendar, AEW like their supershows to have a little breathing room, and they know the value of making each one meaningful to fans.

This is also the final pay-per-view stop before that second Double Or Nothing special on 23 May; that show will be treated like an anniversary special for the company, and it's undoubtedly going to be AEW's biggest event yet. Where does Revolution sit then? Quite comfortably is the answer. There are several delectable delights waiting this weekend.

In order to make Revolution a success, AEW must book title changes, stipulation add-ons, significant storyline beats and format the card itself correctly. They'd also be wise to do a few things WWE are hesitant to do these days.
